Hello all,
I have had a perfectly functioning Hackintosh (i7-3770K, Radeon HD 7850 and HD 6670, ect...) for over a year now. All upgrades have gone smoothly. When I was running 10.9.3 it was perfect. Upgraded to 10.9.4 and the audio stopped working. Reinstalled the ALC898 kext via MultiBeast, no luck. I don't use my Hackintosh very much, only for video editing and I haven't had any projects recently, so when 10.9.5 came about, I thought that might solve the issue. Installed, reinstalled the kext via most recent MultiBeast, still no audio. I read that it may be a BIOS issue with GZ-Z77X-UD5H (rev1.0) motherboard, so I upgraded the bios via Q-Flash from F7 to F14. Computer still works perfectly, but no audio. The audio is greyed out completely and no output options exist in the settings menu. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Dan
