Hello,

every time I boot up my computer (running OS X Yosemite) my keyboard (and mouse via keyboard USB port) are not detected by the system. I'm unable to move the cursor or type something. If I unplug the USB cable several times it starts working after a minute approximately.

Hope you can help to solve this problem

Try this :

Remove GenericUSBXHCI.kext if you have one in /System/Library/Extensions

Copy Rehabman's GenericUSBXHCI.kext to your desktop. Download

If you don't have it already, download KextBeast from Here.
Run KextBeast.

Restart

Good Luck

copy the folder from the .zip file or actual .kext file inside the folder to the desktop?

What is ambiguous about "Copy Rehabman's GenericUSBXHCI.kext to your desktop" ?

I have same issue after upgrade to Yosemite I have to wait 5-6 minutes to login because keyboard, mouse not works (both bluetooth and usb) Even if I made automatic login, system login but still no keyboards or mouse for 5-6 minutes. After replacing GenericUSBXHCI.kext according to your suggestion everything is connected immediately like before in Mavericks. Thanks
