Use "Sleep Image Fix" from the ProBook Installer. If you want to try with the sleepimage after, use "Sleep Image Restore".

I've got a problem where it seems to go to sleep when I close the lid, the power light blinks, but when I open the lid and press the power button..it boots. (4530s with hd mod)
I've attached my ioreg file, could someone point out what I've done wrong ?
p.s I tried to use the probookinstaller and rebooted, but it made no difference

Remove unnecessary 3rd party software and/or do a fresh install. I see LittleSnitch installed.

Also when testing sleep, remove unnecessary external devices...

Also, it is clear you didn't use (the latest?) Probook Installer to patch your DSDT.

It is probably best to start over and follow the guide exactly.

thanks, not sure which 3rd party stuff is unnecessary, but I'll go through it.
I didn't have any external devices plugged in, or do you mean the data disk which is sitting in a cdrom caddy ? thats in there permanently at the moment.
I think I'll do a fresh install, might be a good idea - thanks for the reply.

LittleSnitch seems to be pretty consistent at causing issues...

I saw some extra USB devices, I think...

Just upgraded to 10.9.4 from 10.9.2 using software updater.
Ran 6.1.13r3 of pro book installer
All fine (was fine prior) except sleep.
Will go to sleep but power light stays on and after 30 seconds will not wake from black screen.
Tried both methods of sleep fix - and restarted after each.
IOREG attached.
No use devices or sharing services active.
Thanks for looking.

Use one of the guides that are marked 'sticky' at the top of this forum.

From your ioreg, it is clear you haven't... For example, VoodooHDA is installed; we don't use VoodooHDA on the Probook.

Also, lose 3rd party system software like 'SoundFlower'... 'sophos'
