Its specs are:

Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II N970 Quad-Core Processor 2.2 Ghz
RAM: 8 GB
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6650M

Is it possible to install and have a working Mac OS x on this setup?

AMD CPUs are not supported here. Only Intel.
