Hello World!

Crucial Ballistix 16gb 1600mhz
Samsung EVO 250gb

What you need for this build.
Mavericks 10.9.2

UniBeast

Mavericks 10.9.2 downloaded from app store - UniBeast usb creater tool.
Download Mavericks, run UniBeast, plugin clean usb (min 8gb) and run the program.
When finished, make sure to put MultiBeast onto usb drive.

BIOS SETTINGS! IMPORTANT!
Getting the proper ram detection you will have to enter “advanced memory settings” and set X.M.P to “profile1”
Go to “advanced CPU Core Settings”
Make sure you disable
CPU EIST Function
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E)
Next go to BIOS Features
Disable following
Full Screen Logo
Fast Boot
Limit CPUID Maximum
Intel Virtualization Technology
Intel VT-d
Intel I/OAT
Set Windows 8 features to “other OS”
Boot mode = legacy
Lan PXE = disabled

Other lci device = legacy
Network stack = disabled
go to -> Peripherals
High Precision timer = Enabled

Make sure you're running all SATA ports as AHCI
Turn on HOTPLUG for every port
Under Peripherals go to gigabit network connection and
WAKE on LAN = disabled

To get the installation going you will probably have to type in following bootflags

-v cpus=1 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=Yes or
-v cpus=1 npci=0x2000 GraphicsEnabler=No

See this is where i don't have a fix myself, but system will start, and run mavericks install - but seems to be very slow. Have patience.

Hi dondomingo
.
I recently did my first hackintosh build by following egotrippin's guide.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks...abyte-x79-up4-3930k-gtx-690-ocz-vertex-3.html
I did everything and was able to boot normally with almost everything working, except for the display and sound. It's doing slow motion while i'm using it. (I did a video to show you what i mean.) Please help me solve this issue. And i also installed drivers and cuda enabler that i downloaded from nvidia, but it still didn't fix the problem. By the way my system is built with GA-x79-UP4 F5 + 4930k + Asus GTX 680 + 32GB 1866Mhz DDR3.

Here's the link to the video. I will appreciate much if you could help me on this.

Thanks...

Hey sorry haven't been around for a while, hope you got your system going? if not - uhm you will have to install voodoosync and get the latest cuda driver - that will eventually fix the problem.

You will probably have to boot with cpus=1 but once you have installed your voodoosync kext make sure to remove the flags from org.boot.plist.

that should kill the problem no matter what.
