Hi,

I'm new here on the forum and also new to the hackintosh world.
I am trying to install Mavericks on a Gigabyte Z97MX-Gaming 5 motherboard.
The CPU: i7-4790
GPU: GTX 760 2GB
RAM: 8GB 1866MHz Crucial Ballistix Tracer
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
Wi-Fi: TP-link TL-WDN4800

From the buyer's guide all components seem to be compatible, I just know that the motherboard is a bit problematic because it's a 9 series.

I followed the installation guide and quickly ran into problems.
In multibeast I am using DSDT-free because it's a gigabyte motherboard.
Then I excluded the audio kext ALC 1150 because the system would not restart after and also the ethernet driver. I can cope without them working as I have the wi-fi card and also a USB DAC.

The thing is the whole system works fine, restarts, no problems until a point when it just fails to start again. I cannot link this to any change I made in the system, it purely refuses to fully start, remains stuck at the apple screen with the loading icon still spinning.
If I run -x then it starts.
In verbose I cannot figure what causes it because it shows no errors or I don't know where to look??

What else can I try? Do I need an DSDT for my M/B??

Thanks!

try multibeast again with Graphics Enabler= No
