As per my other post - I'm having real problems getting mavericks to install at all.
can anyone advise me on bios settings needed for this mob? - I've updated bios to F6
vt-d optimised defaults etc.

many thanks in advance

tony

Restore BIOS to default. If you have a video card then turn off/disable all the built in video settings. Turn off all sleep settings. Also I did not use and UEFI settings in the BIOS, just legacy.
When you set up with multi beast, make sure CPU states are OFF...this simple setting caused me failure after failure in setting up the MB...so make sure it is OFF/DESELECT.

This is weird .......

if I disable onboard graphics in bios, I get a kernel panic (see below) before I can even get into unibeast.
So I've left onboard graphics enabled (still using hdmi cable plugged into graphics card) and installed.
when I restart and select the ssd drive mavericks is installed on - the hac freezes on the apple logo screen.
If I restart but using the -x safemode flag, I get to the second part of the installation, and eventually get to a mavericks desktop.

i'll try running multiversity now and see what happens .....

any nay comments suggestions would really be AWESOME!!
many thanks
tony

Let me know as we both have much the same system. I have been trying without success to get to 4.8 but can onlt get part of the mavericks screen up then a freeze. Vcore is high and I am fearful of taking it higher (but I know sooner than later I will....until I hear a 'pop' from inside the box!).
