I try to install OS X Mavericks on my computer, it loads and shows the white screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, the wheel spins for about 7 seconds, then just stops and nothing more happens. This happens with and without -x bootflag. What should I do?

Specs:

Intel Core i7 4790K
ASUS Z97-A
MSI GeForce GTX 970
Corsair Vengeance 16GB
Seagate Barracuda 2TB

I'm not really sure that that graphics card is supported yet since it just came out so to test this theory remove it from the equation by taking it out of the case and in the bios set the integrated graphics to initialize first then boot up in safe mode with -x if it boots up then it's a graphics issue if not post a nice quality screen shot of verbose -v of both with the graphics card and without for further troubleshooting
