Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
System: HP ProBook 4540s
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx). For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Please fill out your profile as requested. Chipset is missing (HM77)...

You have a mixed system... Sandy Bridge on 7-series board. To reach the installer you must remove all the Intel HD kexts (AppleIntelSNB*, AppleIntelFrame*, AppleIntelHD*). Save a copy of them for restoration after installation.

Start here with Multibeast (power management): http://www.tonymacx86.com/mountain-...nagement-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-laptops.html

Then after you install, you'll need to patch DSDT to activate HD3000: https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch
Apply:
"HD3000 Low Resolution"
"HD3000 on 7-series"

To make brightness slider in SysPrefs->Displays work:
"Rename GFX0 to IGPU"
"Brightness Fix (HD3000/HD4000)"
install: https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-ACPI-Backlight

Don't forget to restore the graphics kexts you deleted earlier... because you removed them from the USB, they are also missing on your final install.
