    Acer X34 Predator

Need a LOT more info: How are you connecting it to your computer? What video card? What version of macOS? What drivers are you using?

    Sierra Desktop/Realtek AppleHDA Audio

Realtek 1150, what Audio ID to select? 1 did not work (at least not the first time) ANSWER: My solution was to say YES to the first question and NO to the second. Works great now!

    New nVidia Web Driver

Try the config change here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/sierra-initially-installs-but-after-reboot-nothing-happens.202459/ Once I did that it actually started using the newest drivers correctly.

Sierra Initially Installs, but after reboot, nothing happens!

Sigh.... still no dice. Still getting stuck at "busy timeout[0], (240s) kextd wait(0): 'AppleACPICPU'" similar to: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/appleacpicpu-timeout-before-reaching-installer.197482/page-4#post-1316141

Sierra Initially Installs, but after reboot, nothing happens!

http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/sierra-installs-ok-but-restarts-from-el-cap.202344/ This seems to have some ideas, updating clover being the foremost

Sierra Initially Installs, but after reboot, nothing happens!

This is what I see just prior to winding up at the El Capitan login screen again. Doesn't really mean anything to me. At the bottom I see "Unexpected payload found for message 9, dataLen 8" as well as "IOCTL not recognized: 234 out of 236" other than that I don't see anything obviously wrong.

Sierra Initially Installs, but after reboot, nothing happens!

UPDATED WITH FIXES I switched my machine to an iMac14,2 as instructed, validated everything still works fine in El Capitan, and it does. I then downloaded Sierra, which took forever, but I finally had it, so I installed it. After following the prompts it instructs me to reboot, which I do...

    Login Items Disappearing!

Still no solution for this. Even with Google Drive being flagged for auto-startup it doesn't stay on. But it isn't just that. ANY item in that list disappears. It is behaving as though it has some memory or cache that stores login items you add to the list, and then on reboot it is supposed...

    Login Items Disappearing!

Google drive was off, but Box Sync has no such setting and also disappears (as do other apps). I'll check to see if Drive disappears anyway after re-activating it (I thought it was on before)

    Login Items Disappearing!

Everything seems to be working great on my build except... Every time I reboot the items on my "Login Items" (Preferences > User & Groups > Login Items) disappears! Meaning, Google Drive doesn't ever start on startup unless I start it manually. When I go back into preferences it is gone. I...
