When you say you applied it to a clone do you mean you had a CCC backup or something on another disk, and you ran the installer on that backup disk?

I just ran a few quick geekbenches. I got about 7900 in geekbench with smbios 12,2 and about 7800 with smbios 9,1. I'm just going to leave it at 12,2 for now unless there is something I am missing about the process.
