Have you formatted the drive you plan to install Mac OS X on from Disk Utility?

Do you mean your OS only starts if it's in safe mode, or you want to remove safe mode from your boot flags? If you want to stop booting in safe mode open your config file again in Clover Configurator, go to boot on the left and remove -x from your boot flags, hit save and reboot.

Have you tried to look inside boot.log from Clover Configurator in order to find the volumes UUID?
