problem solved! I have deleted AppleHPET.kext from S\L\E and after reboot system recognized IEEE 1394 port on my trendnet firewire card. yay!

i actually found out the problem... My firewire connectivity is just gone! I removed the external firewire card and it started booting from hdd. But now.... My machine does not recognize any (neither via nor ti) firewire card on pci slot... Wht to do?!

I never tried that board - but as long as it falls into the H55 chipset category (if I'm not assuming wrong!) ... it should work... and its worth giving it a try :D

Hi bro, Mine worked with VoodoHDA 0.2.1 (oldest VoodoHDA) ...just make sure that you click ONLY on that option and Rebuld Cache + repair Permission... then doa restart...it should work! All the best!~
