There is documentary migrating from Chimera to Clover also from Mavericks/Yosemite(without SIP) to El Capitan(With SIP). Check out these threads Migrating from Chimera to Clover | tonymacx86.com
Direct Update to OS X El Capitan Using Clover | tonymacx86.com Its easier to install from fresh and migrate your User folder and Apps over. Don't migrate everything.

OK thank you for the reply I really appreciate it... maybe you can help me out a little...
a while back i wanted to make the move from mavericks on chimera to mavericks on clover...for what ever reason I could not boot into clover so i abandoned the attempt.. but recently my set up "stopped working" it wouldnt post I would just get the Mbiops & Bbios LEDs blinking back and forth....did some cmos resets ,moved my ram around didnt work... .i went out bought a new PSU and all was good...SO when it finally booted it said my BIOS was corrupted so i fixed with the native bios back up reconfigured like a new set up rebooted and LOW AND BEHOLD im on clover......
now my clover boot has my windows 10 option, an install osx option,a recovery hd option and my mavericks option....it also had some legacy hd drives but i used clover configure to "hide them" ......so what should i do from here do i need to go: yosimite then elcapitan....or can i just update to elcapitan following these instructions:
http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/direct-update-to-os-x-el-capitan-using-clover.172107/

also when following theses instruction i dont seem to have the fakesmc item in efi/kext/10.10 or 10.1 ... it isnt in anywhere i can see on my computer using finder

Yes you can follow the direct update guide. I would make sure that you've removed 3rd party kexts from S/L/E as linked in my previous post to you. Then test that Clover is booting your install drive without help from kext in /S/L/E.

You have to put FakeSMC.Kext in those directories. This is common mistake when installing the Clover package to your installation drive, forgetting to add FakeSMC.kext. Using MultiBeast to set up your system will take care of this for you. Glad you managed to get your system back up with a new PSU.

It's ok no need to apologise. If you look at your screen shot it gives a good indication of the problem.
Half way down the screen it says Kernel Extensions in backtrace : The kernel extension being EvOreboot.kext.
You can either connect your drive up to another machine and delete it, or boot to the recovery partition and via Terminal remove the conflicting kext.

So

At this moment I know I don't have a appleHDA.kext I(I don't have any audio kext at this time) tried following guided here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/audio-realtek-alc-applehda-guide.143757/#post886744
Iv also used tried cloverALC110-command
And one or two other injection apps iv gotten from the above link..one just looped in its process "file dose not exsit"(thinking it's the applehda.kext)

But I can't seem to restore the native applehda.kext I get all the way to extracting it from the installer using pacifist.. place it on my desktop in the native_applehda folder open up kext beast zip clicked the app and it "installs" but nothing happens I also tried using kext utility dragged the kext over it said it did everything I restarted nothing changed the kext was only on my desktop in the folder so I tried dragging it over to S/L/E rebooted got a kernel panic had to boot into safe mode and remove it now I'm back to square one...if you could assist any way I'd appreciate it or point me in a direction to find the proper process I could follow thanks either way....do you have any type of donation link

AppleHDA.kext will be in /S/L/E not /L/E/. To restore it just run the installer over your existing installation without formatting the install drive. If one method doesn't work you need to removed that method before installing another. This is information from the AppleHDA Guide. MultiBeast audio for ALC892 works along with CloverALC.
Remove all methods and start again. Mount your EFI partition and run CloverALC-110-command. Make a copy of the output from the script for diagnosis. If you have no audio devices shown see No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide] or if you have audio devices shown but no audio see No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Can I migrate apps from a Yosemite backup to ElCapitan?
I was thinking about just formating my drive and loading ElCaitan.

Currently running Yosemite with this golden build, just wondering what the opinions out there are for upgrading to El Capitan or waiting for sierra? I have no issues with my build right now and it has been going strong for quite some time.
