Thanks for the answer guy, That's what taught, I did try every where w/ no success as well, and that's a shame cause I have a thunderbolt monitor that I could use w/ my new setup that I have, which is a X99DX2 Motherboard, a Xeon e5 2696V4, a Intel MVMe 750 SSD and 64GB of Ram 2400Mhz SPD memory kit from Corsair. This setup is begging to have OSX install. She do 3224 on CinebenchR15. So long story short if by any chance I come across a thunderbolt II card could you be so kind and tell the slot num that you had yours installed, so the settings I already seen then some where here and I can follow those. Thanks!

I'm trying to follow this guide with slightly different hardware: Gigabyte X99 Designare and i7-6950x. I can't get it to boot. After the Unibeast splash screen, when I try to boot, it runs through hundreds of lines of
Read HFS+ file: ......
then
Starting Darwin x86_64
Boot Args: kext-dev-mode=1 -no-zp -x -f -v npci=0x2000 nv_disable=1 kext-dev-mode=1

Then it reboots and lands back at the Unibeast splash screen. In the voodoo file, I changed IPCPUNumber to 19 (because I have 10 cores).

I'm with X99-A
I have the same bios
But the thunderbolt does not work
Can you share your EFI?
Thank
My EFI dir is the same included in rbbunmc's zip

Hmm. Yet again a security update has killed my hackintosh. Here's exactly what I did: made a clone of my Yosemite drive with ccc then did the update. Next I booted from the clone and copies the 4 kexts to the patched drive. Then I ran repair permissions and shut down. On startup I changed the clover boot options to nv_disable=1 and booted from the now patched Yosemite drive.
This is where it hangs. I get about 5mm into the white progress bar before it stops and the machine reboots (PCI Hang) . I'm sure that's all I did last time but it's just not working?

Anyone got any ideas? Have I missed a step?

One of these days I must buy a new mobo that makes this hackintosh malarkey more straightforward!

Just thought it might be the kernel, so I booted from clone and copied over its kernel to the security updated install. Nope, didn't make any difference.

Thanks for any help

At ThenightFlyer, I got my thunderbolt 3 card working on my X99DX2. I got it working also on the smallest slot #2 PCI-e. Then I bought a device that plugs in to thunderbolt's card type-c USB and has a thunderbolt port male that plugs in the Thunderbolt Display. I will update later w/ pictures of the settings and evidence of the devices working.

Sorry ! Progress !! (yay !)

Thunderbolt 2 card is working and recognising hardware !!!!!

Hello:

Did you have to do anything to make your system see the ThunderboltEX ii card? My system still does not recognize it.

@ Vitop, Here I will explain the magic of it. Don't think that I'm an expert because I'm not and I don't pretended to be one either. So technology sometimes can be frustrated so take things w/ caution experimented, when things are getting close to the boiling point open the valve, drink coffee and excel. In computer world your settings could works on and vise versa but since we have different hardware in occasions don't necessary they have to work on mine, the long story short is if you go by someone's settings and they don't work keep tweaking and when you do "DON"T CHANGE A LOT of settings go one by one and keep of what have you changed, if don't work on that PCI-e slot go to the next one start from defaults settings and a LOT OF REBOOTS, that's how you test the hardware a LOT OF REBOOT some times you may get lucky that after couple attempts, walla got recognize but most of the time it takes longer. So here are my settings but this are on my X99DX2 motherboard w/ a Thunderbolt 3 card,

Oh by the way NightFlyer, the other card, the ThunderboltEX 2 its coming, what have happens was that a seller at the EGG it took for ever to send the card and the card never left their location so the EGG cancel the order and I had to use the BAY, but that its going to the other rig that I got, the 5960X w/ the X99DX. And that its when I'm going to use your settings to star with. So fellows their you have it, long story short but wealth it.

Well I did fix FACE TIME CAMERA bought the program DRIVER TOOLKIT and found the driver for my face time camera as well USB and other drivers that were out dated, NICE.
