Confirmed Audio Interfaces (Hobbyist/Pro-sumer/Pro) & Drivers - Mac OS X

You can add the Focusrite Clarett 2Pre and 4Pre thunderbolt interfaces to the list.
I have a 2Pre working in Yosemite through an ASRock z97m pro4 + ASRock thunderbolt AIC.

Only annoying issue is having to boot into Windows and reset into OS X, but I have a question posted about that in this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/f...t-detected-in-focusrite-control.192891/page-2

Another user confirms the Clarett 4Pre to be working in that thread.

This is a long shot I know...

But I have El Capitan and an old Digi002 rack mount interface, FW, with 8 ins, plus optical.

Anyone get it to work on anything post-Lion at all? Core Audio? An old version of some digidesign software so I can see it in Logic? Don't even need to use ProTools.

I know it is unlikely, but thought I would ask to see if anyone knows a trick to get it working.

Apogee Quartet working perfectly (specially after firmware update) on a Asus z97 Deluxe, 4790K, 32 Gb ram, with El Capitan

how did you managed to get it working, did you disable uefi? as far i have read all the firewire 800 related threads, you're the first person who confirms that chip works with z97 board at all. or did you wrote this when using something else than uefi board?

btw my macbook pro 8,1 does exactly same thing with LSI FW643 chip, i must start a interface first (happens with both m-audio, uad). seems that this behaviour is related to that specific chip.
I'm sorry, I didn't see this until today. Hope it's not too late. I didn't do anything special to get it to work. I used the optimized settings and configured the rest of the BIOS exactly as the guide on this same page says. Also, Three days ago I reinstalled everything from scratch and went from Chimera + Yosemite to Clover + El Capitan. Again, everything works and this time I don't get those random kernel panics when booting.

Also, I should mention I don't use a FireWire 800 connector as you say. This card uses FireWire 400. Anyway, I used a 800 to 400 cable before with this setup with no compatibility problems.

Great post I must say.
