I followed the instructions in provided in the first post and have not seen any results. I also installed the iMac.kext. I first tried to install them in L/E but I got a message saying that the kexts were improperly installed and would be ignored. I ran Terminal with the steps provided and restarted and I still have the same issue. I then tried to put them in EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.11 and after that failed /other. Currently they are in EFI/.../10.11.

I am running 10.11.5 on a GA-Z77-DS3H mobo, EVGA 750 ti, 24 GB Ram, connected HDMI to a Samsung S22A350HS monitor.

Any recommendations are welcome.

Broken permissions. Run kext utility to repair permissions. Reboot and boot without cache.

Worked for me using additional plist for Maxwell gpu.

==> EFi/.../Others

I used KextBeast to insert Shiki into /Library/Extensions and it seems to work fine. No other kexts were needed.

Thanks to DerDings for bringing the Shiki kext to our attention, and to everyone who shared their insights into what helped make it work for them.

can confirm working on Sierra beta 2 an El Capitan.
Put the kext in EFi/.../Others ran the terminal lines done.

Now my Sierra build is close to perfection all features working for the first time ever!

may thanks to all who made this possible.

You have got to be kidding!!!! - After deciding to put this on the back burner because I could not get it to work by following the instruction to input this line 'defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA forceATI -boolean yes' for my Graphics card and no matter what combo I tried ended in utter failure, I followed the exact method employed by cabal2000 rebooted and kiss my auntie betsy I got trailer play back in iTune. Buying a different card is now on the back burner instead for the time being (the wife will be pleased). Thank you cabal2000, you're the man or woman or child whatever - Thank you.

I'm a bro sir dude!! And you're very welcome. I had to put it up how I got it working because I tried so many different combinations with files and folder I actually completely lost track over so much time. I was at a point where I was giving up!! Found the Imac file, tried it again in different folder boot, reboot, different folder, boot, reboot etc... Til this worked for me. I am a big believer that this community is about sharing your findings. I know the frustration of how to get your hackintosh working properly, so i had to post my findings. Hope it helps more people.
Take care....

Much thanks!!
GA-Z68X-UD5H with a Nvidia GTX980ti 10.11.5
Placed both in the EFI of clover efi/Clover/kexts/10.11

defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA forceNV -boolean yes
defaults delete com.apple.coremedia
defaults delete com.apple.AppleGVA
sudo rm -rf /Users/Shared/SC\ Info
sudo defaults delete com.apple.coremedia
sudo defaults delete com.apple.AppleGVA

Rebooted system. Played Superman vs. Batman trailer... Bob's your uncle!!
Yes, the attached NVIDA 980 files are the way to go. Works for me perfect!
DS3H z77 with i3570K and Nvidia970 working perfectly with 10.11.6

This is a supplement to post #127 - This is probably only suitable or worked for my system for my ATI 5770 card and I only just found this out because I tried the same method that worked in El-Capitan on Sierra and it failed. I remembered in El-Capitan I had to remove this kext in Sys -> Library -> Extensions 'AppleIntelHD3000GraphicsVADriver.Bundle' and then reboot - this extra step allowed me to enable iTunes movies and trailers to play. Let me state, this is not my idea but one taken from Slice over on the other side.
