Thinking of the same... There are great pc laptop now , well designed. If i go to a PC for my main power working station, it's a little too much OS and Software management to do for myself while workign as a freelancer too if i have to maintain and update 2 different OS...

This is where my love and praise for OSX stop. Today GPU power has taken as much importance as CPU, and even more in several cases. Half professionnals and gamers will like this and i don't understand why Apple is not reacting to this demand. I have probably missed something...?

Does OSX support a dual GTX 980TI or 980? support and use both at full power? I thought i was not possible...

I was about to shoot the same built as you, almost exactely the same. Im very much interested in keeping update about a GTX 1080 hack compatibility. I think the genius who who do it, will make a lot's of people happy :) I don't mind myself if the GTX1080 is not used at 100% of its power on OSX...

I would love to build a similar station but with a seocnd gpu card instead to run on OSX a GTX 970 (before the GTX 1080X getting supported on OSX) Is it possible? On windows, i would like to be able to use the two card for GPU rendering... or if not possible only the GTX1080
