[SUCCESS] Yosemite 10.10.0 on Lenovo m93p

Did you use the patched kernel in PRE-INSTALL step 2? That step is mandatory and your symptom sounds like that's what the problem is. You can use any machine with perl or sed, e.g. Linux live CD/USB.

[SUCCESS] Yosemite 10.10.0 on Lenovo m93p

I've since given up on doing this thing as a hackintosh. However, the appleintele1000e in multibeast should get your LAN going, and ALC283 in multibeast for sound. What did you try?

Chimera missing display modes when booting from 4k DisplayPort

Thanks for that spec sheet, MacMan, I hadn't seen that before. I would agree with you except for the fact that it works great in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS and Windows 8.1. I will look into SwitchResX again.

Chimera missing display modes when booting from 4k DisplayPort

Hello, Please help me debug this; not sure if it's a bad monitor or bug with Chimera. Let me know if it should be in the bug reports section. The setup: Asus PB287Q 4k/UHD display (native 3840x2160@60Hz) Lenovo m93p desktop with HD4600 / Q87 Haswell / Core i5-4570T. DisplayPort and...

[SUCCESS] Yosemite 10.10.0 on Lenovo m93p

I just realized that I'd been missing out on the ALC283 kext available for sound and messing with VoodooHDA for no reason. Use the ALC283 option in Multibeast audio drivers section. No laptop here; this is a really small desktop with a mixture of desktop/laptop guts (golf balls for reference...

    Trouble with 4K @ 60Hz: Asus PB287Q + Intel HD4600 + Lenovo m93p (DisplayPort 1.2) + Yosemite

Trouble with 4K @ 60Hz: Asus PB287Q + (desktop) Intel HD4600 + Lenovo m93p (DisplayPort 1.2) + Yosemite Hi All, I've been trying a bunch of combinations of things, but I can't seem to get my Asus PB287Q's native UHD 4K resolution recognized by my hackintosh. First, I'll say that 3840x2160 @...

    4k 60Hz tip

Thanks for the tip! FYI to anyone else that wants to run this, you gotta install Xcode tools first. After running the commands, I plugged in my Asus pb287q to my Lenovo m93p tiny workstation (core i5-4570T with desktop class hd4600 I believe, native DisplayPort connection) running Yosemite...

[SUCCESS] Yosemite 10.10.0 on Lenovo m93p

Picked up an Azurewave BCM94352HMB from amazon for $40 and followed toleda's wireless_half_mini airport_ssdt_enabler instructions (here) for wifi! Notes: Installation of the card itself is straightforward if you have messed with PC guts before. Just be sure to be careful with the tiny coax...

[SUCCESS] Yosemite 10.10.0 on Lenovo m93p

Hi Folks, First, thanks to all the people that make stuff like this possible. Here are my notes from this 10.10.0 build using Unibeast / Multibeast on a refurb Lenovo m93p "tiny" form factor. These are sweet little machines the same size as a mac mini, and you can get them as low as $400...
