Sorry to bring up an old thread, but did you manage to get to the bottom of this issue? I am running a GTX 970 4GB GPU, Asus Rampage 4 Extreme mobo, CPU: 3930k with 16GB ram on El Capitan 10.11.5 and I am getting +-65fps in cinebench. Cant be right... any suggestions?

Removed, SSDT-8 from the folder on the EFI drive and tried again, using one the 3 suggested USB2.0 black rear ports.
