    i7-2720QM and OSX

No issues with heat at all. Running 2670QM and 2630QM on both of my 4430s and idle temp is ~42 degrees. It goes up into the mid 50s if I'm doing more intensive stuff. Normal as usual.

Webcam from the 4530 model to 4430 model?

Huh, not sure what you're asking but my 4430s came with a webcam that worked perfectly fine with the ProBook Installer.

    4530s Upgrades

My 2630QM upgrade went super smooth on my 4430s. Its been running really great. With the 2630QM SSDT from blueking' package, I think it has made it perfect. Thanks blueking and all who have helped! I was going to go the QS/ES cpu route too, but I'm super happy to have gone the OEM cpu route...

HD Caddy for HP Probook 4530s and SSD Harddisk question

That's what I had read on the notebook forum, here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-business-class-notebooks/591679-hp-probook-4430s-4530s-owners-lounge-70.html Once updated, bios can't be reverted back, so I was wary of not updating. Now that I know it's not the case, I probably should...

HD Caddy for HP Probook 4530s and SSD Harddisk question

Inmike09, on my 4430s I have the same issue as you from Windows 7 (dual boot with Lion). It doesn't matter where the OS drive is placed - in the regular hard drive slot or in the caddy. As long as both are connected and you shutdown from Windows 7, it'll behave as you have described. I'm not...

    4530s Upgrades

Hi timohour, I just bought a 4430s and it should be here in a few days. I'm looking to upgrade the CPU to the same one you did (i7-2630QM). Any issues cropping up for you now that you've had it for a month? The full 45w TDP causing any issues? Extra heat? Anything? Also read the thread on the...

    Success! i7-2600k - GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 - 16GB RAM - HD3000

I haven't had to chance to check out my system further but I followed tonymac's recommendation to change the GPU frame frequency in the bios from auto to 1100. This supposedly minimizes the artifacts. I've read others have suggested dropping it down to 1000 to minimize it even further... Here's...

    Success! i7-2600k - GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 - 16GB RAM - HD3000

I don't have a SSD but I use CCC to clone my Lion 10.70 partition to a backup partition which boots up fine. Same board and bios and HD3000 video as you. Only I use the Realtek 2.0.6 ethernet not the Lnx2Mac...ethernet connection works well. Doubt it's the different ethernet kext that's causing...

    Success! i7-2600k - GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 - 16GB RAM - HD3000

Hi, This is my first hackintosh build and I'm typing from my F11 bios GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 with i5-2500K and 8GB RAM system! I followed Frostcall's and your threads while following TonyMac's step by step instructions. I'm getting some video artifacts using the HD3000 and sleep/wake doesn't work but...
