I‘m using Cubasis 11 with UAD plugins for serveral weeks now, was already stable before their release :-) I don‘t have any issues with the software I‘m using. System is very stable anyway.

Hmm, honestly, no clue. :) If you think it could be hardware related, than I would disconnect everything you don't really need for booting and replace (if possible) some the parts like RAM, Graphics card, HDD... You also could test it with Linux live, or if you got a spare hard disk install...

Hi HackaShaq, I got a very similar build and if you want to try out OC check out my EFI folder here. Everything works pretty flawless, also DRM is no problem. Currently very happy with Catalina, I also installed BigSur but the system freezes at some time not sure where the problem is. cheers

great that you got it up and running! via videoproc I'm able to activate the hardware acceleration, although I haven't tested it sofar: maybe you get better results with macpro7,1 as mentioned here by this guy. Let me know your progress if you try it out!

i changed to AppleALC, works like a charm sofar and additionally all the audio outputs and connected audio devices are shown with the correct name. thanks pastrychef for the input!

it seams that i found the issue, took a while (wasnt high priority) somehow I had installed AppleALC and VoodooHDA, I deleted the AppleALC kext and now the system boots up very quick and both uad cards are showing up everytime. great success!
