[Solved] Installing drivers - macOS Sierra on Zotac Magnus EN1080

I have a 1070K working perfectly, including ethernet. It's likely the same chipset. Based on the driver link you posted, I would run multibeast and install the Realtek LAN/GLAN driver that in there. I'm not on my Hackintosh so I can't check the chipset name, but it should work. It is likely the...

    Sierra on Zotac Magnus en1060

I have a Zotac EN1070K working perfectly, everything except for the Intel Wifi card. The 1070K should work the same as a EN1060 or EN1070, just without the spoof needed for the Kaby Lake processor. Let me know if you want me to post my configuration. I was thinking of putting together a guide...

[Guide] El Capitan on the Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 (mini-ITX)

No, I don't think so. In fact I believe people have gotten the Bluetooth working with the original card. However I don't believe there are Wifi drivers. You could always use a supported USB wifi dongle.

[Guide] El Capitan on the Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 (mini-ITX)

You shouldn't drop tables. As for the _OSI to XOSI, I noted on this skylake board I didn't need to do this. Please let me know if this provides benefits over not patching it. I do know that when you use _OSI->XOSI, you also need to include the SSDT that defines XOSI. Otherwise, calls to _OSI...

Strange. That's my working config. What firmware are you on? I'm also surprised 4k works buts that's good to hear. Please share additional patches that you find and we can trial them.

This is my config.plist for macOS Sierra. It should work for El Capitan, except for the need to edit the Graphics sections and ig-platform-id and 'Inject Intel'. I've also attached my complete CLOVER folder. You can remove CodecCommander.kext, I have that to fix the sound after reboot from Windows.

[Guide] El Capitan on the Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 (mini-ITX)

I may have a fix. You should name the SSDT-USB.aml file I made to SSDT-1.aml and put it in the patched folder. SSDT.aml should be the processor specific SSDT you can download. Let me know if that works.

I forgot. I only got the red port working in Sierra at a 3.1 port. I'm not sure that a SSDT fix is possible. I'll share my config and the SSDT file I made before compiling later today when I get home.

Yes you should, but You don't have to but supposedly it is buggy if you run more than 15. With this SSDT you can disable it. And the SSDT handles all the ports within the limit of 15, so I didn't have to disable any.

No, but I would search the thread on the H170N motherboard as it is very similar and any fix should work for this one.

I made a SSDT-USB.aml for this motherboard that should activate ALL the ports. Please let me know if it works. You need to install USBInjectAll.kext of course.

Unfortunately I have found sleep unreliable. Are you in Sierra or El Capitan and are you using integrated GPU or PCI? In Sierra I found sleep to work but deep sleep appears to not wake with iGPU. This is the known HD 530 problem. I found the enable hibernate option does not work. If you have a...

Skylake Intel HD 530 Integrated Graphics Working as of 10.11.4

Mine is fully accelerated with 1.5 gb in Sierra. I have a Z170 Skylake board. I didn't inject any platform-id nor intel setting.

I will likely write up a full edition after reinstalling from scratch. I'll do this after MultiBeast is released (and after the new NVIDIA Web drivers are released that support Pascal). For the most part the instructions above work for Sierra.

So I'm going to update this guide for Sierra when the new NVIDIA drivers are released. For anyone watching this thread, are there any tips or trips for the new OS that you want to add or recommend?

[Guide] El Capitan on the Gigabyte GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 (mini-ITX)

Not really sure what your problem is. For El Capitan you need to inject the proper ig-platform-id and inject Intel. For some resolutions over HDMI you need to install a Pixel Clock patch. For Sierra you do not need to inject anything, and there is a new pixel clock patch. See...

HD 530 help (in macOS Sierra); need expert advice on someone who knows framebuffers

Yes did change dvmt and didn't change issue. It's a trade off because now sleep works, which is a bigger deal for me.

I believe the pixel clock patch works for the integrated gpu. Have you tried https://github.com/Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2/blob/master/README.md

Skylake Intel HD 530 Integrated Graphics Working as of 10.11.4

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I was wondering if anyone has tried the HD 530 on macOS Sierra that will be released shortly. On the GM build the device is auto-detected without injection into ig-platform-id and it accelerated! Unfortunately there is a graphic glitch involving the top...
