Check out this link. AnandTech is kind enough to do an EXTREMELY extensive review of the upcoming 1155 Ivy Bridge powerhouse. It is almost DOUBLE as fast as the 2500k in spots, and that is at stock speeds! Needless to say, anyone looking to max out their 1155 boards, here is the chip for you.

On top of the chip being a real monster, the built in HD4000 puts the HD3000 to shame and makes buying a dedicated card a thing of the past for sure unless you're a gamer/producer who uses the GPU's processing power.

Agreed. I've already been very impressed with the general graphics chops of the HD 3000. 40% faster will surely beat discreet cards such as the 210, 220, 6450.

Do I get it right that the 1155 platform still only supports dual channel (and thus usally only 4 ram slots = 16GB of "payable" RAM? 8 GB modules being to expensive)

Actually, 8GB sticks are only about $50 now. That's $200 for 32GB of RAM, where good sets of 16GB (4x4GB) are around $100, so the price is about right. No one would saturate all that bandwidth anyway. The real world performance is very very little difference.

You are right. 2x 8GB DDR3 1333 Crucial = 178 Eur incl. VAT. thats ultra cheap. Great platform (price/performance) then... 3770K, 1155 board, 32 GB RAM (4x8GB RAM), a Crucial M4 256GB etc <3. What massive speeds ahead.

This will work in my H67N-USB3, am I right? :)
