I have tried all the modifications above and it is still booting with no speed imporovements, so I tried to use your EFI (upgrading it to the current OC) and here's what I get:

If you are using the IGPU to drive a display then your config.plist should contain the following:



These are the recommended DeviceProperties for Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite with Coffee Lake CPU/IGPU.

If you are using the discrete GPU (RX 6600) to drive the display(s) then you need only add the following:



As the IGPU will only be used by macOS for Intel Quick Sync and compute processing.





The later is how a real Mac works, using the discrete GPU for all other GPU processing.

Thank you very much @Edhawk! I think it improved a lot now. I was not using the iGPU, but the discrete GPU (RX 6600) to drive the display. Thank you @Feartech and @miliuco for your time and patience too.
