Trying to connect a Mac Pro power switch to a motherboard without using the PCB and wiring it directly. I have searched through many threads and cannot find a solution to my problem. I have successfully wired the center and right contact to the motherboard to provide a power switch. After hooking up the positive leg, the LED only comes on whilst pressing the power switch and doesn't remain steady. I tried it in the the HDD+ pin and the Power+ pin with same results. What am I doing wrong?
