@Stork - further to our thoughts on BIOS updates, my Prime Z690-P (fairly similar motherboard to a Z690M) rig has the OOB "0404" BIOS and right from the start system has always taken a long time to boot into the UEFI screen. After that it's fine although a "Memory Misconfiguration" notification message now appears on the screen when running Sonoma (doesn't happen in Ventura).
Also, this is a SMBIOS MacPro7,1/OC 0.9.7 dual-boot rig with Ventura and Sonoma on separate SSD drives. For some reason the Sonoma OS never sees any updates in Settings>Software Update, however, the Ventura OS sees every software update!
So am thinking maybe a BIOS update is due.
Do I roll the dice?
