after an exhausting afternoon I have got a Quadro 600 running on OS 10.7.4

System profiler only sees 512MB VRAM, but it is a 1GB card. Might play around with kexts later to resolve this. Quartz Extreme appears to be working, but not working Quick Look (movie) Finalcut & Adobe Premier Timeline...

Motherboard Gigabyte GA z77 d3h (via sound chip not working)
Graphics PNY Quadro 600 1gb 128b (working quadro 600 512mb.)
Memory 16gb 1600MHz DDR3
HDD SSD 240gb & 2tb backup
Software OsX Lion 10.7.4 (app store edition)

Thnx..

I would greatly appreciate some advice from your "exhausting afternoon"  to avoid some exhaustion myself...
A friend of mine has exactly this card which seems to work to a degree but only on one output. I started reading the long saga of olden days with efi-strings and such, I remember way-back-when dealing with this but have no desire to re-learn.

So please, could you provide some specifics about your method?
Up until now, the posts I have read seem to point to the new Nvidia drivers that were released in May, plus adding device ids to NVDANVX0hal.kext and/or boot.plist. Then there is the older-version of NVenabler and NVCAP edits... specifics, please?

p.s. you say QE/CI is working, right?
