I haven't updated my Hackintosh in about 6 years. I'm still on High Sierra and honestly this machine is still working almost perfectly for my needs, BUT I'm starting to get hit with warnings that my operating system is not going to be supported for apps that I need for work.
Which OS would you guys suggest updating to for as smooth an experience as possible... and is there anything I should do to protect my current boot to make sure I can get back to it if the update fails miserably? The machine itself is over 10 years old (!!) with pretty much no upgrades since I built it.
