Hello,

I was going to install Mac on my 4530, but just checked and found that my hard disk is 4k cluster size (from chkdsk). Is there any way to change it to 512 or something BEFORE installing mac, so I don't need to go through the long 'advanced' method described in faq.

Thanks.

By using that method on your FAQ, will I experience any performance glitches?

With all new hard disks using 4k sectors, is everyone having the same issue?

I just noticed on Samsung's website for my hard drive and it says http://m.samsung.com/au/consumer/pc-per ... 641JI-spec bytes per sector : 512 so why did my chkdsk show 4096? Will this have any problem like other 4K drives?

THANK YOU"

PS. I also just checked under system information, and it says byte/sector as 512.
