Can i use Radeon HD 6990 On Lion

i have a Radeon HD 6870 and is getting another one to run crossfire on my windows SSD and the Radeon HD 6870 is running fine in my hackintosh but i was thinking of just upgrading to a Radeon HD 6990 in crossfire.. i know crossfire don't work in lion but the Cards will be recognize well at least the 6870's do. so my question is will the 6990's be recognize in lion?? Any help will be Greatly appreciated...

I have a 6990 (just one) and a 6870. The 6870 will be recognized in Lion (that's why everybody using this cards). To run the 6870, I have to de-install the 6990 (luckily on my motherboard you can just switch it off).

For the 69xx series, it's quite complicated. The 6950 and 6970 are doable, but won't run out of the box.

The 6990 won't be recognized and you have to tweak a lot to get it done. I have not managed it to get it running now, but I hold on to one post on the internet which says that a 6990 can be done:

BTW: the downside of the 6990 is the noise at 100%. I would advice everybody to buy the Accelero cooler on top.
