I am using iboot-supported with my i3 processor..

when i insert the installation dvd and press f5 another option appears, (cd or hdd) but i am unable to choose it, its not even hovered.

what is wrong?

Edit: I was able to write the DVD from windows as an ISO with HFS+, so it worked on iboot, but then it gives me the grey screen of death (have to restart screen)

Any ideas?

Some members posted about problems when burning to DVD or CD-RW... Try using a regular CD-R.

I already have a CD-R with iboot on it..

I burned the , but on boot it gives me a kernel panic.. First it was about "ACPI" drivers but I found that it most likely is a kernel problem because it was not able to find extensions like: com.apple.driver.acpiplatform.kext and in my dvd it was named acpiplatform.kext directly.

So I renamed the 2 kexts it couldnt find to the name mentioned in the kernel panic, and it got past that error, but another errors appeared, same kinds, extensions not being found because they are differently named...

I do not know what should I do... I am thinking its a problem with
In my country, the Snow Leopard DVD is not available much, and is very expensive.. So I wanted to make sure it will work before I buy it.

We do not support or discuss piracy on this forum. We only support installations using a purchased retail version of Snow Leopard per http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php#f0r3.

Until you purchase a Snow Leopard DVD you will not get support here.
