Noob Question: Bios has no AHCI and HPET can i install Snow?

Hello this is my first post so im sry that i made a new thread but i need help^^
As the title says my Motherboard (ASRock N68C-S) has no AHCI setting (somewhere i have readed that it loads it at startup) but i think for Snow Leopard i need it. Also i can only turn HPET Table on or off.
I am able to install snow leopard?
Oh and i have a amd processor.

ok thx i have raeded, but the main part of my question dont fall specaly under amd i want to know if i can install osx snow leo on a mother board without AHCI?
(mobo in first post^^)

I know for a fact that you can install SL on a motherboard without AHCI since I've just done that. I just can't get it to boot now, which is probably related to AHCI not being active.
