Problems with Adobe Flash in web browser

I seem to be unable to view flash video through safari. Each time I get a flash clip, it wants me to download the flash plugin. I find stability suffers greatly from the flash plugin when I try to install it. Is anyone else having issues with this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarts, all to no avail.
 
No issues here with Firefox, Safari, Chrome or Opera.

I have nothing but trouble with flash. The only way for me to successfully navigate the web it to remove flash from the system. Have you had any success fixing this issue?
 
The problem of flash not working went away when I upgraded my sapphire 2600 HD Pro to a Gigabyte 5770 HD. The graphics card upgrade also fixed Preview, it didn't show images before.
