Happy with your progression. I´ve made some here too. I resolved to open my three monitors and changed all the power and signal board electrolytic capacitors. No interference from router wifi in monitor anymore. But modem reset persists. Trying to solve...
I can not help with your problem, but I also have a interresting network problem here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/realtek-rtl8111-kext-leading-to-periodically-arris-internet-router-reset.253379/
Good luck!
I have two TPLink TL-WDN4800 Ver. 1.0 working fine. Plug and play. The only small trouble: "unknow locale" on dmesg. Solved with recomended patch on config.plist. ( https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solved-how-to-get-rid-of-the-athr-unknown-locale-21-errors.148852/ )
Suggestion: see your pci...
I have nowadays two hackintoshes, which work perfectly for a long time. A some time ago my internet provider (called "NET") changed my modem, installing a new one with builtin router (Arris router/modem). At that moment I was using TPLink router plugged on old modem without any problem, with all...
Hello FlapFlapRooRoo. I do not have Sierra on my system. I have here a Q6600 processor, and it does not support Sierra. I am already thinking on a upgrade to a compatible quad core processor, but not for now. So, about Sierra, I can not help! I know almost nothing about its nuances. Sorry.
Try...
2TB Seagate ST2000DM001 on Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L with Core2 Quad Q6600 and 4GB Kingston 800 MHz.
I got peaks for both, read and write, up to 218 MB/s.
(I Know it´s not a SSD but I decided to place my contribution anyway...).
Here in my computer (with bios) I plugged four HDs of 2 TB each, two for linux (my main operating system), one for windows and one for OS X hackintosh. Each system remains alone in its own hd, totally independent. Inside bios I have the option to choose HD boot order. Before installing each...
I had the same problem while trying to boot! A "++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++" error when booting with -v option, or a freezed apple logo without it. Q6600 does not support Sierra. ElCapitan runs fine although!
Are you using what kind of video connectors? DVI, D-SUB or HDMI? From your computer specs, your motherboard is different from mine. Try to disable the native motherboard video on setup and let only GTS250 enabbled. This could be the cause of the problem. To me, worked "out of the box", plug and...
@itstreycx, it's enough "inject nvidia" when using multibeast (I assumed you are using clover). It is equivalent to "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" when using chimera. Native OSX driver works fine. Now, if you wont, you can try to install nvidia driver from nvidia official site.
I have a fully functional hackintosh with Core2 Quad Q6600, 4GB of memory, GA-G31M-ES2L Gigabyte motherboard, Nvidia GTS-250 running El Capitan, up to date. It is configured with model 3,1. Can I change it to 14,2 in order to get and install Sierra without problems, or this hardware is not enough?
Complement to previous answer.
About VoodooHDA.kext, you can also install it via Multibeast, and do not forget to remove AppleHDA kext from S/L/E. It also takes control of audio chipset instead Voodoo, and audio will not work with AppleHDA installed.
You can install the latest version. After...
