Wake from Sleep failing - Mojave Vega 56 + GTX1080ti

I'm trying to avoid that if possible, as I boot to 10.13 and also windows when I need to use it, and having to continually put in and out is not really feasible. Is there anyway to prove if that is what is really causing it even though I've used @RehabMan spoof SSDT to disable it ? The kernel...

Wake from Sleep failing - Mojave Vega 56 + GTX1080ti

I disabled the USB port limit patch and am using @kgp KGP-iMacPro-XHCI-15port.kext from his Mojave iMacPro guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/imac-pro-x299-live-the-future-now-with-macos-10-14-mojave-successful-build-extended-guide.255082/ With the above, the wake issue is still...

Wake from Sleep failing - Mojave Vega 56 + GTX1080ti

I'm having a issues with wake from sleep from Mojave. When I press the keyboard or mouse to wake, the keyboard lights up and fans start and then keyboard lights turn off - screens remain off the whole time. I can't access the system remotely either. The only way is to hard reboot & then on start...

iMac Pro X299 - Live the Future now with macOS 10.14 Mojave [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hi @kgp, are the HWSensor kext's displaying your Vega graphics card under iStats 'sensors' ? I just changed from NVIDIA to VEGA and there is no longer my GPU temp under iStats sensors. I can see the Mem and CPU load under GPU/CPU load on iStat, but not temp or anything under sensor info. The...

Nvidia Drivers for Mojave 10.14 Not Available, no WorkAround works well

I am still on High Sierra, as I am waiting on a new monitor to be able to connect to the Vega, and then will upgrade - currently my 1080ti connects via DVI-D & this is the only connection on my main monitor. Both cards are functional and I can connect my smaller side monitor via HDMI, disable...

Nvidia Drivers for Mojave 10.14 Not Available, no WorkAround works well

I've just put a vega 56 in my box with my current GTX1080ti, will wait to see how this turns out before selling my Nvidia, as it's still more powerful and better power consumption, although may end up keeping both to change between when Nvidia drivers are not available now that I have them both...

I've been running only a 1080ti, but want to upgrade to Mojave, so have a vega 56 arriving in a few days & was planning to run with both in. What kexts do you include in for dual nvidia @ amd in 10.13.x and 10.14 on your system ? Any other issues to be aware of ? Thanks

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Hey @kgp - do you think it would be a good idea to split another thread that is for help for your guide ? There is often great updates you give that are drowned out by requests for help and word storms for pages. Would be great to be able to read the important stuff without pages of...

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

That's where my concern is. During BOOT/POST some motherboards will burst voltage on the fan headers to get fans to start spinning (this will give max to your fan hub). I believe this does not occur after wake from sleep - which may cause issue to your fan hub

How to build your own iMac Pro [Successful Build/Extended Guide]

Have you tried to connect one fan directly to a motherboard PWM connector - does it also have the same problem after wake ? These PWR Fan hubs - you say have no power, so during sleep they would be powered off. Wonder if there is any difference in their stability with a fresh power on vs wake...
