I used built in update functionality. Everything went smoothly.
I updated Clover and kexts before OS upgrade. Hackintool is really great for checking which kexts are outdated.
I’m afraid that the era of Hacintoshes becomes to the end.
I had issues with this upgrade. I share my experience, so it might help someone else.
I used direct update. When I rebooted I got into "No port micro restart (we don't support SMC on this platform)" loop.

Seems that I found the workaround.
I changed SMBIOS from iMacPro to iMac16.2 and were able to upgrade without issues.
Then I reverted SMBIOS back to iMacPro after upgrade and everything works fine
I had some progress. I decided to create USB installer and interestingly I were able to boot installer from it. But after installing installer on disk, I got another issue.
I suspect that this might be the Quirks issue. Below are listed quirks settings.

I'm unable to update from Big Sur to Monterey, I get error and system reboots:
Bootloader: Clover 5142
SMBIOS: iMacPro1,1
Big Sur runs smootlhy without issues.
Seems that I have DisplayPort to DVI adapter and tested it, all DisplayPorts are working. Seems that I need DP to HDMI cable to get extra monitors to work. Seems that 2nd HDMi port is blank whatever I do.
