<< Solved >> Clover boot - correct disk not selected for boot

I just installed Catalina, and it seems to be fine, updated OK, all working correctly, except at boot. When the PC boots, you see clover start and then the list of disk icons Clover can see, but it just stays on a grey disk icon and doesn't boot. Before it always selected the correct disk and...

Catalina USB Installer still not recognised!

Hi, I've created a USB installer for Catalina, using Unibeast 10.3.0. It successfully created the USB installer, but when I try to boot from it, it won't boot. First, it's seen simply as "Sandisk" in the F12 boot menu...(the equivalent working Mojave installer I have is seen as "UEFI Sandisk")...

[SOLVED] upgraded from 10.14.1 to 10.14.3 - now can't sign in to App Store

I upgraded from Mojave 10.14.1, to Mojave 10.14.3. Now when I try to sign in, the login box disappears like the sign in was successful, but it doesn't really sign me in. I can browse the App Store, but if I click the Get/Purchase/Download button it just offers me the login/password boxes again...

High Sierra 10.13.1 SIP is broken / no audio devices present

I've installed High Sierra 10.13.1, using SIP 0x67 at all times. Once the installation is complete and bootable with everything working perfectly, I set SIP to 0x0 fully enabled. As soon as I set 0x0 and reboot, all audio devices disappear. The only way to make them re-appear is to reset SIP to...

Hi, I have a 100% working Sierra install, (10.12.4), done a few months ago with a previous version of Multibeast (9.01) I would like to update to 10.12.5, (which I think needs the latest clover bootloader installed, hence this question) Can I just run the new Multibeast 9,1,0 to install...

Serial Number & Hardware UUID (OSX Sierra)

Are the serial number and hardware UUID (in About this Mac) unique. How are they generated? I've installed / reinstalled a few times and have noticed the serial number changes, but not the UUID. (Install done with latest Unibeast / Multibeast). Thanks

    Gigabyte GeForce GT 710 2GB (DDR3)

I currently have a Gigabyte GeForce GT 610 2GB DDR3 card running perfectly with Mountain Lion OOB. I tried to install OSX Sierra the other day, (on another hard disk), and found that it didn't work. Looking around it seems that the GT610 is not compatible with Sierra. Apparently the Gigabyte...

    OS X hardware compatability

Hello, I have Mountain Lion OSX which I would like to install on an H81M-HD3 or GA-Z97-HD3 + 4790K + GT610. Is it possible to get these 2 configurations running 100% with OSX 10.8.5, or is this only possible using a higher version of OS X. I don,t mind if it,s difficult to do, but if it,s...
