One thing I have also noticed is that the Card Reader no longer works. So I would recommend that both card reader kexts be disabled in config.

We only use OCLP for patching Wi-Fi card on our system. Do not use it to create a USB installer. OCLP is meant to be used on real macs.

Try this attached EFI folder. It has the latest OpenCore version and all the updated kexts.

With the USB installer, boot into the main drive and update the IOSkywalk kext and OCLP. Then reboot and try booting without the USB installer and see the OS loads.

If you have a Sonoma USB installer, you can put my original EFI folder on it and try booting with it.

I am using a TV as monitor. Could that be the reason why? Is there anything in my EFI folder that would cause the HDMI issue?

With HDMI, when system wakes up from sleep, the display signal does not get restored. I have to unplug/replug the HDMI cable every time.

Since the last couple of macOS Sonoma update, I have noticed that when I restart the computer, the system gets stuck at the motherboard's logo screen. But after when I manually restart with the reset button, the system boots up just fine. Has anyone else come across this issue?

I was thinking about upgrading my PC to the latest hardware. Is it worth upgrading to latest Intel hardware considering Apple has moved away from Intel? With every OS update, more and more features are getting dropped for Intel.

I have a Vega 64 graphics card and running the latest macOS version. Everytime I turn off the display at night and turn it back on, I get no signal error. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in to bring up the display again. Does anyone know how to fix this?
