Replacing the 3 cell WDXOR battery with a 4 cell 33YDH battery seems to be working. I just needed to snip off a little plastic tab. I used a fingernail clipper to do the snipping for lack of a better tool... The plastic was pretty soft and very easy to cut.
Update:
Battery percentage reading seems incorrect. It only reports 54-56% even when fully charged.
Update 2:
Battery doesn't seem to be charging. I'm putting back the original battery and will do more testing when I have time.
Update 3:
Reinstalling the 33YDH somehow got it all working as expect!!
Btw, latest version of Monterey runs perfectly.
