Wow, that was REALLY confusing. With AsusSMC I still have to patch the DSDT, right?
My question is: I already have the DSDT patched from ThatCopy, so I want to use the one I have and just apply the patch on this guide. How do I do it?

use a clean DSDT and apply new patches from AsusSMC

I am attempting to get Mojave or Catalina working on my Asus A555LA laptop (i3 5005u).

Can you please confirm if the attachments in OP are enough to get Mojave working? Did you have to make any changes for Mojave?
