Okay. That worked! Now the boot loader is working.

I can now get to the “hello” screen, or occasionally further (the data privacy screen) before the system crashes.

Any ideas?

Could this be about the differences in our motherboards? Should this EFI work with AMD RX580?

I’m a little late to the party Since this thread has been moved here, but I wanted to respond to Asket7

@Asket7
Your issue might have been your NVMe drive. It looks like only Western Digital and Kioxia FKA Toshiba are supported on Ventura.

Choosing a Compatible NVMe SSD for your macOS Boot Drive

I haven’t upgraded Ventura yet. I’m still running Mojave on an i7-8700 - Gigabyte Z370 HD3, MSI Radeon RX 580 8G with a Corsair Force MP510 NVMe. I have a WD blue lying around, but it’s a couple year old, so I’m not sure it’ll work. Fingers crossed.

I’m by no means an expert. I’m not looking forward to the Ventura install, if it gives me to much trouble, I’ll probably just install Monterey or Big Sur for now.

If you haven’t figured out or totally given up on your Ventura install, I hope this helps.
