i want to select the mac os install partition

so i want to make a cool hackintosh partition as a cool project (before i destroy the mac partition with windows xp ofcourse)
but however i am scared i might destroy all the other data in the partitions and stuff
can you help with this pls

i think my laptop does not support uefi (it did come included with windows vista) and idk what is the newest version of mac os that can run on the laptop still

sorry for late response (windows 7 is glitchy as hell on my machine)
i tried everything and could not find out what motherboard i have
