Hi everyone,
Looking for recommendations: are there any ITX-sized GPU models (max length 175mm) out there which are Hackintosh compatible? I don't see anything listed on the buyer's guide.
I'm currently running a full-length RX 580, so something comparable to this would be ideal – but I'm...
Hi,
Just installed Mojave. I have a problem with audio : it automatically switch to headphone output even with nothing plugged into front case audio port. In order to get speakers to work, I have to unplug the jack from the back audio port, plug it in the front headphone port, then plug it back...
Hello, everyone. I recently built a mini-ITX Hackintosh. I am satisfied with everything so far, but I just realized that with only 1 PCIe port on my motherboard I am unable to install the networking cards recommended here.
What do you use to enable wifi & Bluetooth on your mini-ITX Hackintosh...
I'm planning to create the ultimate hackintosh for music recording and performance. My audio setup is absurdly CPU intensive, and instead of reducing the awesomeness of my setup I've decided to just create an equally absurd computer.
But it's more complicated than that. I'm immobilized by...

Hi,
The Gigabyte GA-H170N-WIFI has been the "CustoMac Mini" board of choice for some time now which is fair enough - but can someone point me at a slightly older alternative mini-ITX board (Wifi optional) that will be fairly problem-free for my next build?
Space & budget are tight on this...
Dear all,
First post, I am hoping I am posting it to the proper forum.
I spent a lot of time reading a lot on this forum here for the past several days but the more I learn the more questions I have.
Apologies, but it is all a bit overwhelming for a beginner.
I would like to build a mini-ITX...

This will be my first computer build ever! My goal is something to run Photoshop and LightRoom quickly and efficiently, processing significant numbers of raw files, while potentially having several other programs open as well, like mail, Chrome and Word. I have no interest in gaming (I know...

Ever since my MacBook Pro went down (long story), I have been wanting to build a HACKINTOSH since the current MACs hardware are a bit outdated.
After plenty of researches, I have come to the conclusion as to how I would like to build my CustoMac. However, I am still a bit in the wind about a...
I'm planning on getting the CustoMac Mini Deluxe with parts almost exactly as what is specified in the buyer's guide except for the computer case.
But, before pulling the trigger, there's something I couldn't figure out.
What's strange is that it says "Please note that the included Intel m.2...

Hi there,
I have been searching around for a while bit was not able to find the answer I was looking for. My situation is as follows: I do have a FractalDesign Node304 case that I want to use to build something like a MacMini on a Skylake platform.
I want to go cheap. From the "Buyers Guides"...
The Gigabyte GA-Z97N-WiFi motherboard has been the recommended mini-ITX option for a long time now and I'm wondering what the other options are? Also the GA-Z97N-WiFi board is expensive and becoming harder to source on Amazon which could indicate its on the way out and will be replaced soon...
Love it !

- Option 2 : Gigabyte GA-H97N-Wifi
- CPU: Processor socket 1150 Intel Core i7 4790K
We have a mismatch here. your CPU is overclockable but your motherboard choices do not support overclocking. Giagbyte boards are...
Note: It's the smallest mini-itx I could build, not the smallest hackintosh you can get.
If you want the smallest you have to look in "thin mini-itx" MOBO.
This build is 2cm higher than a mac mini.
