A decent pen tablet for getting into graphic design?

I've been thinking of getting a pen tablet, mainly for drawing but I want to do some graphic design stuff on it: photoshop, illustrator, and indesign.

so what is the best tablet for design work/drawing? does anyone use these?

Preferably affordable but still good quality? Thank you so much in advance for any guidance!

My family use Wacom Intuos Pro pen tablets (2 x Medium & 1 x large) for photoshop & Illustrator. These Wacom tablets work in macOS and Windows. But they are not cheap. They are well made and made to last. My son and daughter used theirs through University (Animation & Illustration Degrees respectively) and they are still going strong years later.

There are less capable and less expensive pen tablets from Wacom and other manufacturers.
