That Gigabyte motherboard looks nice and have good review also

RE the GA board, the Anandtech review notes two issues (memory overclock and efi bugs), which GA customer service says are resolved. what follows is GA's reply to my original inquiry below:

----------------------------

Answer : Dear Customer,

The issues mentioned have been fixed with BIOS F8, and the download for EasyTune6 has been fixed.

Thank you for choosing Gigabyte products

Question : Hi GA

I'm sure you saw the new set of reviews at AnandTech
http://www.anandtech.com/show/5793/inte ... te-and-msi

I'm a prospective GA buyer, but was concerned that Easy Tune 6 might be out of date. Note this quotation from the review
"The version as shipped could not read the CPU properly, or suggest overclocks for it. I attempted to download the latest version from Gigabyte, only for it to be corrupt no matter where I downloaded it."

There is also this issue noted in the review:
"In terms of memory, when attempting to overclock a G.Skill 2x4 DDR3-2666 kit, which performed 2950 MHz on the ASUS P8Z77-V Pro, it would not boot at the DDR3-2800 strap despite all the correct timings being entered."

Please let me know if these are being looked at, or if solutions are already implemented.

Thank you
