Uh Oh... The new iPhone 6 is in trouble. The iPhone is getting bent by your jean's pocket. Twitter is spammed with pictures of BENT iPhones. Other smartphones are thin, though they do not break.... That's because of the iPhones body it's made of aluminum and can simple be bent with your hand

Seems ridiculous to me that anyone would even try keeping
a 700 dollar smart phone in the pocket of their tight fitting jeans

This is why Apple has come out with the Apple Watch as a companion to
an iPhone. Makes it easier to quickly check many different things like
texts and notifications with a quick glance instead of having to pull a
new (5-6 inch tall phone) out of your pocket. Another reason why Steve
wanted to keep the phone size smaller too. Maybe this will start a fashion
trend of big baggy pants with large loose pockets.

Would have been great if they had the Watch ready by the end of this month
but it looks like Jan. 2015 is the earliest it is available. It should still be a
big hit with all those devoted to the iPhone and Apple products. Regarding
the bending phone, there are also plenty of rigid cases to put around the
phone like the "Life Proof" case that are a great idea for iPhone users that
either drop their phone frequently or put them in pockets. iPhone 6 versions

It's not a manufacturing defect that is leading to these problems for consumers.
It's mostly utubers trying to get viewers to their ad supported channels.

I was one of the many people who waited in line for 14 hours to get mine on launch day. I am very glad I did because where I live in canada nowhere other than the apple stores themselves (at least in my area) have gotten them yet and haven't gotten many since that day. I bought the 6 plus 64GB outright unlocked. I have been using it since that day and have had no issues yet. I don't wear super skinny jeans however I don't wear overly loose clothing. I am starting to think that it is just a few people mistreating their devices that has gotten blown out of proportion due to the rising number of android fans. I sell phones at our local futureshop and I have actually seen about half a dozen iPhone 5/5s units bent as well, still running fine just curved. I think this time it was just used as a dig at apple by the iPhone haters.
