Can you install device drivers of the manufacturer?

I have EL Capitan installed on Probook 6570b with Clover. I want to install the drivers of my audio interface. Is it something that I can do, or prohibited on Hackintosh? Can it ruin the system, or the drivers will work flawlessly just like on any other normal MacOS machines?
