Has there been any updates/workarounds for macOS allowing non-thunderbolt daisy chaining? Both monitors have DP 1.2 and the are in the correct ports working fine in Windows, but I cannot get it to work in Sierra. The only option I have is to mirror the two.
My working setup consists of having one monitor using DP to the GPU and the other using HDMI to the GPU. My biggest gripe is that upon rebooting or waking from sleep, only the DP monitor turns on. For me to get both monitors working, I have to power off each monitor, first the HDMI then the DP, and then turn them back on in reverse. Any thoughts on how this can be fixed at least?
