Legacy BIOS will still work with Clover but you will have slower booting of course.

Followed a few 'guides' and no luck. I actually tried the legacy version of clover first and it wouldn't boot off the test clover USB.
Is there a guide that has worked for legacy 6 series?
I don't mind starting with a new drive and fresh install of sierra. I have the Sierra install ready with unibeast. I have the clover test usb.
Not sure what I'm missing. I'd like to try again before giving up and attempt to transfer the multiple 1000s of dollars of programs in Mac that I use for work.
Otherwise I'm going to wait until new 6/8/10 core intel and try to wait for hack compatibility on a new machine entirely.
